Melted glass, melted mesh, site specific installation in Ponte da Mucela (PT), 2018
Along two years the bridge which names the village witnessed a flood and a fire, coming from opposite directions, whose aftermaths have been tragic for the people.
The wave looks like water crashing onto the stone but it is actually made of fire, I collected the fragments among the ruins of the houses. I arranged them in the spot where the two waves would have ideally met. The scale of the installation is the human body measure.
